From the very beginning, it felt like the Lord was writing something special.

Groom’s POV:

I remember the first time seeing Autumn like it was yesterday. It was almost like the feeling of deja vu but I knew I had never met her before. I just knew from the moment I layed eyes on her that she was special (and so so beautiful), and something told me she was gonna be in my life for sure. And, funny enough, I was right! It was my first time running ‘The Net’ at church, and her first time attending. After service I was standing in the back and her and her friends were standing a good bit away, but she was standing in a way where she could look at me the WHOLE TIME. Absolutely would not stop looking at me. In my head I was saying “please come over here” over and over and over again. Then she did! LUCKY ME.

Bride’s POV:

When we first met, it felt like an immediate gift from the Lord. It was my very first time at The Net and one of Ricky’s first days running production at Harris Creek. I remember being so glad I wore a cute outfit that day when I walked past the booth and spotted a cute guy behind it. After the service ended, my friends said, “Oh my gosh, that guy lives in our apartment!” And it was Ricky. SCORE. We walked over and started talking to him, and sparks were flying instantly as I began flirting the only way I know how… by bullying him.

Groom’s POV:

We couldn’t help but flirt and sparks couldn’t help but fly as soon as we started talking. I made fun of her for going to the apartment gym. She made fun of me for having fairy lights on my balcony. Literally what more could I wish for? After that it took about 2 months of me constantly pursuing her and being prayful and things of that nature for her to finally let me take her on a date… and on that night of August 14th, I fell in love with her. No doubt about it. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her from that moment on. Soon after that date she begged to be my girlfriend (heheheh), and the rest is history! How lucky and blessed am I that the Lord put in my life someone with such a beautiful heart and such a love for Him. Autumn is everything I could ever hope for plus a million, and I pray everyday that I steward well this gift I have been given. I love you Autumn McKee (Dunn-ish)!! I can’t wait to marry you!!! This engagement better fly by!!

Bride’s POV:

A few days later, Ricky texted me asking me to dinner. I was a little hesitant at first, waiting on the Lord’s timing, of course. Night after night, I prayed and asked God if it was His will for me to be with him, and the Lord answered with the biggest yes!! Ricky is servant-hearted, humble, strong in his faith, and a true man of God. I’ve loved him from our very first interaction. I thank the Lord every day for sending me someone so consistent, loving, and kind, and I cannot wait to marry him. Truly the man of my dreams!! I cannot wait to marry Ricky Dunn!!
